3.67GBps Speed Recorded in 5G Network


Huawei and Sunrise have achieved a top speed of 3.67GBps downlink with multiple smartphones in one 5G cell in Zurich, Switzerland.  Huawei and Sunrise have achieved this milestone by their joint efforts to improve 5G network speed. Earlier Huawei and Sunrise achieved a top speed of 2GBps with single user smartphone. The continuous improvement in 5G network will bring more innovations in broadband internet connections and more convenience to people living in Switzerland cities. 

Sunrise is the first in Europe to launch 5G network. Through the close cooperation with Huawei, Sunrise is now providing 5G coverage in more than 262 cities/villages throughout Switzerland, offering maximum 5G speeds to enable broadband internet, HD-TV, interactive gaming 5G services etc. Now Sunrise and Huawei are putting efforts to spread 5G network all over the Switzerland.

The 10th MBB Forum hosted by Huawei in Zurich, Switzerland is to be held on October 15th and 16th , 2019.
